Convenience to Port Hedland
Room was nicely appointed and had a sea view
We arrived after dark and had great difficulty seeing the hotel as we drove by. It took us 45 minutes of circling and asking at gas station, another hotel nearby, etc. - very frustrating as we had been driving for 9 hours. I suggest they improve their signage from the ocean road.
The location was good.
Very basic rooms - need upgrade. No wine glasses.
the quitet,nice beach views/sunset
The location condition of the facilities and the room size and condition.
for the price we could have stayed in broome far to expensive for the room you need to put some money back in to fix up the place
The staff were friendly and the bed was comfortable.
The room although classed as non smoking reeked of smoke because people are allowed to smoke directly outside the rooms and the smoke blows in through the ventilation in the bathroom and under the door. The sheets and the bedspread smelt of smoke also. The cost of the room was exorbitant for the standard of the furnishings. I would rate the standard as a two star motel.
The dinner was excellent
Probably the pillows - very hard
It had a pool and the laundry was free.
I thought your rates were far too high for the quality of accommodation offered. I had just arrived from spending 3 nights in Broome in vastly superior accommodation to yours. At Broome we were charged less for 3 nights than we were for only 2 nights at Hospitality Inn.
The fact that as a guest I could not eat dinner in the dining room and the food had to be delivered to the room. However I had to ring reception to find out why it was taking so long to have the meal delivered to the room, it would appear that the food had been left standing in the kitchenas when it arrived in the room it was cold, a good meal wasted.
It had rooms available, although as they do not have to try hard to get guests, as the resource companies block book them, this is reflected in the standard of the rooms and the price. From what I have been told this is possibly the best of a poor lot, although I have not tried the other couple of hotels so I can't be certain. The hotel staff were pleasant and efficient, and the restaurant is held in good regard by the locals.
Decor, especially the bathroom, straight out of Red Dot's 1972 catalogue. I had forgotten that tiles were ever made in that horrible brown. Big section of peeling paint on the ceiling of Room 10, together with the noisiest air conditioning unit. As it is generally too hot to not have it on, I recommend you use earplugs or do as I did and try and sleep with headphones on.
Travelling as a group. All rooms were located close to one another. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The Pool was so Great, our weekend of bookings had to be cancelled last minute, we spent the entire afternoon having a few drinks and swimming in the pool - met some really great people poolside. Staff very friendly and efficient.
Air conditioner in our room was very noisy, however we eventually went off to sleep and slept soundly.
Definitely overpriced for the service/facilities
We paid $34.40 for two pieces of toast & two coffees which I think is rather expensive.
Location is the best thing about this hotel. Close to the water and a walking path
The room is so 70's dated and everything is so old. Bathroom needs a good updating and the whole room. Chipped laminate on benchtop near door, everything in the room for the price of a one night stay in this area is disgusting. The sheets had a hole in them and the pillow case was stained!!!!
